Owning a puppy is a huge commitment, therefore, you as the new potential owner must expect to be questioned about your experience with dog(s), your long term commitment to training and caring for your puppy, we need to be sure we match the right puppy with the right owner so it is a good idea to come and visit us and our dogs before you decide to purchase a puppy.

You need to remember a puppy comes home looking very cute, but he / she will need introducing to your house rules as early as possible. Training is something that should never be underestimated, especially as the Boerboel is a large breed dog!

Bouduccia is therefore committed to ensuring all puppies go to good homes, and you should therefore expect to enter into a contract, whereby certain terms and conditions are agreed for the welfare of your puppy, this and other information will form part of your puppy pack.

All puppies will leave our care at about 8 weeks of age, having been wormed, microchipped and received their first vaccination, this is to ensure the best start possible. Ownership will transfer when all relevant paperwork has been exchanged.

Things to think about BEFORE you purchase your Boerboel puppy!

  • Have you owned a dog before; can you manage a large breed dog?
  • Do you have the time to train AND exercise your puppy?
  • Do you have room for a large breed dog?
  • What hours do you work?
  • What will you feed your puppy?
  • Can you afford puppy insurance?

We encourage all potential owners to visit other breeders to ensure you are happy with our dogs!
